Who qualifies for CDAP? The criteria
In general, CDAP provides financial support to businesses that meet the following criteria:
- Operate as a profit-driven entity, including for-profit social enterprises and cooperatives.
- Are officially registered or incorporated.
- Your previous year’s gross income is at least $30,000, or you have had an employee other than yourself for at least three months.
- Engage directly with end consumers, selling goods and services in the consumer market.

What does CDAP cover?
The CDAP initiative encompasses expenses directly linked to the implementation of your organization’s digital strategy.
This encompasses the acquisition or upgrading of IT equipment, the training of personnel in emerging technologies, the procurement of essential materials and support services for technology integration, and the utilization of advisory services.

What is the CDAP grant for ecommerce?
The CDAP aims to provide a limited quantity of micro-grants, each capped at a maximum value of $2,400.
These grants are intended to assist businesses and entrepreneurs in defraying expenses associated with the execution of e-commerce initiatives aimed at promoting the growth of their online clientele.
How does CDAP work?
Prospective candidates will have the opportunity to utilize CDAP’s Digital Advisor Marketplace, where they can choose a digital advisor with whom they wish to collaborate in crafting their digital adoption strategy.
Subsequently, applicants and their chosen digital advisor will mutually agree on the scope of work and the ultimate cost associated with formulating the digital adoption plan.
How is my new eCommerce going to be FREE with CDAP?
The CDAP grant for eCommerce is refund-based.
It means that you will have to pay for your new eCommerce website, and after you have submitted the proof of payment to the government, you will get a refund of up to $2,400.
How is it free, then?
Unlike other web design agencies charging you a minimum of $5,000 for an eCommerce website, our digital marketing agency will not charge you more than $2,400.
Since you will get a full refund of up to $2,400, the math is easy; your new eCommerce website will cost you nothing.
Will I get an Amazon-like eCommerce website?

How long does it take to get the CDAP grant?
Qualified small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) must submit their digital adoption strategy and the corresponding invoice through the CDAP portal.
Upon approval of the plan, SMEs can expect to receive the grant within 30 days after submitting the required documentation.
